Breakfast at the George Blucher House is quite an affair. Guests have
compared it to an elegant dinner party. Served by candlelight in the Inn's beautiful
dining room, oftentimes on the Innkeeper's great grandmother's china, along with
sterling silver flatware, crystal stemware and exquisite linens, the Inn's breakfasts
are multi-course gourmet delights. The menu changes daily at the whim of the Innkeeper.
Always included are fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh ground coffee, just baked
breads
and a fruit course. The entrée may be an elegant crepe, a light as a feather
quiche, stuffed french toast, a tasty omelet or some other special treat.
During late fall and early spring, breakfast may be served outdoors on the back
veranda where guests dine bistro style on white French wrought iron tables and chairs overlooking
the fountained koi pond. The breeze of gently stirring ceiling fans, the song of a
bird and the whirring of hummingbird wings will make you think you have gone back in
time.
Depending on the itineraries of guests of the Inn, breakfast is usually served during
the week in two seatings, at 7:30 am and again at 9:00 am. On Saturdays and Sundays,
breakfast is served at 9:00 am. Every effort is made to accommodate individual
scheduling or dietary requirements when at all possible. Advance notice of any
special scheduling or dietary requests is appreciated so that the innkeeper may
prepare accordingly.
